What is the current state of basic education and basic skills in Germany? Building on the publication and discussion of the PIAAC 2023 study, the latest edition of weiter bilden highlights current developments and findings in the field of basic education.
In the article ‘Grundbildung neu verknüpfen’ (‘Rethinking Basic Education’), Dr Johannes Bonnes und Dr Sabine Schwarz report on how the Competence Centre supports the ten model projects through research, consultancy and networking, and share their findings and impressions after one year of project implementation.
